b'2019 State Report Silver State SummaryNVvisited the Federal Capitol MARKETERS GO TO WASHINGTON DCNevada Petroleum Marketers and C-Store ownersto talk with our legislators about the Renewable Fuel Standard or RFS reform, Biodiesel Blender Tax Credit reauthorization, and several federal tobacco issues - mainly the Fed-19 eral Drug Administration (FDA) issuing draft guidance that would ban the sale of most e-cigarettes and flavored cigars at c-stores.Leading the Nevada group this year was Association Vice President Christi Case, Rebel Oil. With Christi were PMAA Director for Nevada Rob Flippo, On Time Oil; WPMA President Mark Lytle, Pro Petroleum; and Jason Case, Rebel Oil. NPM&CSA Executive Peter Krueger also participated.While on the Hill the marketers visited the offices of Senators Cortez Masto andJacky Rosen, and Congressmen Amodei and Horseford. In the afternoon our groupvisited Congresswomen Titus and Lee.While not on the formal agenda, Mark Lytle and Jason Case discussed an ever-growing problem for Nevada marketers, especially in southern Nevada. Each year, but espe-cially in the summer, Nevadas only railroad seems incapable of spotting ethanol tank cars at our members terminals. With the encouragement of Congressman Amodei and Congresswoman Titus, the association, led by Jason Case of Rebel Oil will work with May 2019 Big Dogs BOWLING!the respective Congressional staff before a planned Surface Transportation Committee hearing in Washington D.C.All in all, the largest group ever from Nevada participated in this years PMAA Washing-ton DC conference. All members are reminded that any member may participate in this important PMAA conference.
