It was especially nice this year to feel like things are getting back to normal and enjoy the company of our colleagues from around the region. WeMPMCSA Executive Directorconducted a Montana member meeting during the convention to update members as to ongoing projects and begin to strategize on the 2023 session of theMontana Legislature. We are closely monitoring the summer primary races across the state for both our state legislature and for the newly added seat to the United States House of Representatives. The MPMCSA is fortunate to have engaged members from across the state who can regularly interact with theirlocal candidates throughout election season to develop and foster relationships. We expect the 2023 session will be a busy one with proposed legislation across the spectrum of our members businesses. The MPMCSA will again have great representation at our Day on the Hill in May. This is such a valuable opportunity to collaborate with our cohorts from across the country on issues facing our industry. The Montana delegation will spend time with each of our Congressional members to reinforce how important these issues are to their constituents, and continue to grow our relationships. MPMCSA continues our work with the Petro Fund and DEQ. We continue to have regular meetings with stakeholders to address the items that have been identified through the legislative audit. We are proud of the work we are doing to find common ground and work toward solutions. Be sure to mark your calendars for June 7 thand 8 thfor the MPMCSAs annual Convention and Trade Show. We will be at the wonderful Fairmont Hot Springs Resort again this year. As in years past, we will have golf on Tuesday with some antics along the course to keep things interesting. Be sure to practice your toilet putts. For the non-golfers we will also have trap shooting again on Tuesday. We are planning to have a number of special guests in attendance on Wednesday during the conference to offer a great opportunity for members to interactwith state and local officials. Wednesday night we will again hold a liveand silent auction to raise money for the scholarship fund and enjoy anevening of good company. MPMCSA continues to move the industry forward and I am proud to represent and be part of the entire process. Thank you to everyone that contributes and supports our efforts as we work to ensure that the entire industry will besupported and strong for many years to come.
