This allowed for a return to in-person networking and the opportunity toExecutive Officer catch up with old friends over a fun activity.(CEO)Tuesday began with golf at the beautiful Rio Secco Golf Club on a sunny VegasGene Inglesbymorning. Later that morning we enjoyed hearing from our educational speakers who came prepared to address the continual changes in our industry, with a focus on alternative fuels, state and legislative issues, biofuels, human resource concerns, and EV charging stations.Our trade show opened showcasing 11 trucks, the most ever on our convention floor, as well as the latest in technology and services for our industry. We would like to thank all our wonderful exhibitors for attending and helping us to deliver a sold-out show. The first day was capped off with our Welcome Back Celebration featuring fantastic food and live music. Everyone was excited to be meeting in person again.Wednesday we were proud to welcome our Keynote Speaker Trey Gowdy, who gave valuable insights on the importance of surrounding ourselves with those who think differently than us, to ensure we do not live and die by a world divided into halves. He reminded us that we must make an effort to understand others differ-ences in circumstances and beliefs in order to ensure we are part of one whole.The Ladies' Luncheon was hosted this year by Tami Clark and began with a fun2022 Survey Says: taco bar lunch and cash prize drawing, followed by a tour of the Mirages Secret96% wouldGarden and Dolphin Habitat.Recommend Wednesday afternoon, WPMA was pleased to host Cardlock meetings for PacificWPMA to theirPride and CFN, along with brand meetings for Chevron, ExxonMobil, Marathon,colleagues.Phillips 66, Shell, and Valero dealers. Great networkingopportunityThursday began with an educational session featuring nationally known expertExcellentFrank Abagnale speaking about fraud protection and cyber security. Frank gave annetworking showeye-opening speech that made us think twice about the security of our financialsand great to see all and personal data. Thursday also saw the closing of our Scholarship Silent Auction,the faces we dowhich helps finance our scholarship program.
