b'Marketer Member News 2025 Hall of Fame: Mark LytleMark Lytlea beloved industry leader,mentor, and friend who passed away in early 2024was inducted into the WPMA Hall of Fame at this years WPMAEXPO.The award was presented to his wife, Melissa Lytle, and their family, surrounded by acommunity that still mourns the loss of his presence.Mark Lytles legacy spans more than three decades of service, leadership, and passion in the petroleum industry. A second-generation petroleum marketer, Mark began his career in 1987 working for Petromor Incorporated, his parents tanker company, where he gained hands-on experience in nearly every departmentfrom dispatch and accounting to payroll and parts.MARK LYTLEIn 1991, Mark transitioned into marketing with Cool Fuel. Working with a rotary dial WPMA Past Presidentphone, yellow pages and a hand recorder, his determination and charisma helped him rise 2018-2019to the position of Vice President. Marks career reached new heights when he joined Pro Pro PetroleumPetroleum, where he spent 21 years as Vice President of Supply and Marketing. There, he Las Vegas, NV helped build and expand numerous operational divisions including Terminal Services, rail yards, transportation, and fuel processing. Known for his tenacity, integrity, and gift for relationship-building, Mark was more than a successful sales executivehe was a trusted advisor and a true friend to many across the industry.Mark served as WPMA President in 20182019 and also held roles as Western Region Chair of the Energy Marketers of America (EMA) and board member of the NevadaPetroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (NPM&CSA), now Energy and Convenience Association of Nevada (ECAN). Marks passion for this industry was second only to his love and loyalty to his family. It was a great honor for Mark to be able to mentor his daughter, Mackenzie, as she followed in his footsteps. She is the 4th generation and 6th family member to be part of this great industry.Mark often said, Its better to leave an impact, not just a good impression. He taught us hard work, a trusted handshake, and an inherent love for people is truly the best receipt for success. The loss of his presence, honesty, and wholehearted approach to business and life leaves a void, but his legacy continues to inspire those who had the privilege to know and work alongside him.The WPMA is honored to induct Mark Lytle into the 2025 Hall of Fame.
