Brad LongcakeThis spring, members of the Energy Marketers of MPMCSA Executive Director America gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual Day on the Hill, held May 1416 at the historic May-flower Hotel. The event brought together petroleum marketers from across the country to meet face-to-face with lawmakers and advocate for the issues that matter most to our industry. From regulatory reform to energy infrastructure and supply chain resilience, attendees had the opportunity to share real-world insights and reinforce the vital role energy marketers play in keep-ing America moving. It was a powerful reminder that when our voices come together, they carry weight on Capitol Hill. I attended to represent Montana and was able to meet with Senator Daines, Senator Sheehy and Representative Zinke to highlight the issues of particu-lar interest to our state and our members. As the EMA Western Executive Representative, I was also able to spend time networking and collaborating during EMA Board functions. MPMCSA took over Fairmont Resort and Hot Springs again this year for our annual Conference and Trade Show in early June. Tuesday kicked off the conven-tion with a bangliterallywith attendees breaking away for several rounds of trap shooting and teeing up for the always-entertaining golf tournament. We hit a record number of shooters this year, and the golf course was buzzing with laughs, friendly competition, and Brad making the rounds with his signature fanny pack full of essentials. 34 www.wpma.com / Summer 2025'
