With lovely weather, a packed schedule, and Lake Coeur d’Alene doing its best postcard impression, the three days offered just the right mix of business, networking, and Idaho-style fun. A Special Guest Idaho’s special guest in 2026 was special indeed. Annie Marszal, representing Lahaina Petroleum, joined us as the first female president of WPMA in its nearly 75-year history. We welcomed Annie to Coeur d’Alene with customary Idaho hospitality, and she returned it in spades by jumping right into the mix: sharing the WPMA report at Tuesday’s board meeting, trying her hand at shooting, joining the member meeting, visiting the trade show and reception, speaking at dinner, and staying through the live auction. Annie brings enthusiasm and a bright smile to her role, and we look forward to seeing her again. Welcome to Idaho & WPMA Annie, or should we say “Aloha”! Convention Highlights The opening reception on the Terrace patio kicked things off with a warm welcome, perfect weather, and a chance for members to reconnect. Thursday began at the CdA Skeet & Trap Club, followed by lunch and the member meeting, where an updated IPM&CSA board was elected. Industry presentations offered a full agenda on the issues facing our industry today, including a Mara- thon update on fuel supply and infrastructure in the West, economic trends in Idaho and surrounding states, insurance fraud and prevention strategies, WDC insights from our national affiliates, RIN 101, and the latest from the Idaho Lottery. The afternoon and evening brought our signature events. The trade show was a hit, with terrific vendor participation, raffle excitement (thanks to our Idaho Lottery friends), and a full house for the trade show passport contest. Dinner followed with remarks from Annie Marszal and the bead game, and silent and live auctions, featuring our ever-favorite auctioneer, Kenny Chambers. One More Round Before Goodbye On Friday, we closed out the event with golf at the Coeur d’Alene Golf Course and its famous floating green. Golfers gathered afterward for a BBQ on the Clubhouse patio, awards, and fond farewells until next year, when we return to Sun Valley. Thank You In an era of acquisitions, consolidations, and retire- ments across our industry, we are especially happy to report another successful event. Still, it is no surprise that the best part is the people: old friends, new friends, and the chance to gather in a place that reminds us how lucky we are to live in Idaho. We also want to offer a special thank-you to our sponsors and vendors, whose generous financial support helps make this convention possible. From the trade show floor to the receptions, meals, raffles, auctions, and all the thoughtful details in between, your partnership keeps this event lively, welcoming, and valuable for everyone who at- tends. We are grateful for the investment you make in IPM&CSA and in the people who keep our industry moving. That’s a Wrap - See You in Sun Valley in 2027 Our success is due to the commitment of the IPM&CSA board and members, our national and regional business partners, Team WPMA, and the excellent staff at the CdA Resort. We are already looking ahead to Aug. 4–6, 2027, when IPM&CSA heads back to Sun Valley. Mark your calendars, polish up your mountain-town small talk, and plan to join us for another terrific convention filled with good company, industry insight, and a setting that is hard to beat. We will see you in Sun Valley!
