Save the Date:
Day at the Nevada Legislature—
February 24th
Our Day at the Nevada Legislature is tentatively scheduled for
February 24, 2027 in Carson City—and this is one event every
ECAN member should plan to attend.
With the 2027 Nevada Legislative Session underway, this is our
industry’s opportunity to show up in force, meet directly with
legislators, and put faces and stories to the policy issues that af-
fect our businesses. There is no substitute for a member looking
a lawmaker in the eye and explaining what a fuel tax increase, an
unfunded mandate, or a regulatory overreach actually means for
their operation, their employees, and their community.
Whether you have never set foot in the Capitol or you’re a
seasoned advocate, Day at the Legislature is designed to make
participation accessible and impactful. More details—including
scheduling, talking points, and logistical information—will be
shared as we get closer. For now, mark February 24th on your
calendar and plan to be in Carson City.
The fall season has given us a lot to be proud of and even more to
look forward to. Little Dogs was a success. Our advocacy going into
the general election is strong. And with the legislative session on the
horizon, ECAN’s most important work may still be ahead of us. I am
grateful to serve this industry alongside each of you.
With gratitude,
